One of our founding writers, Suzanne Gill, has a short story in the "Chicken Soup for the Soul" series of books (Amy Newark, copyright 2020, Chicken Soup for the Soul,LLC). This particular edition is subtitled "Believe in Miracles, 101 Stories of Hope, Answered Prayers and Divine Intervention".
The true story, "From Princess to Queen" recalls a series of unlikely events that led up to the reunification of a family and their long lost cat, Princess. Of course there is much more detail to be found within the pages, but you'll need to buy the book!
Screenfems earns a coveted "RECOMMEND"
The Screenfems Screenplay Group has garnered a "RECOMMEND" for the latest addition to their growing catalogue of work.
"Making Waves (Merman), has received excellent feedback from colleages and industry insiders. A fun action-packed script full of snappy dialogue, unexpected twists and plenty of smiles, this seaside comedy with an undercurrent of romance should get interest from producers and actors alike.
Screenfems gets a RECOMMEND
After a chance conversation with a friend about a poster for a missing dog, Suzanne went home and, inspired, put together a screenplay loosely based on the idea. Shortly after completion "Finding Puffles" was submitted for review, garnered a RECOMMEND, and has since generated interest. Suzanne has her fingers crossed that the movie will hit theaters for all to enjoy.
A bright spot of news arrives!
The feature-length RECOMMENDED screenplay, "Making Waves", was named a 2020 QUARTERFINALIST in the highly-respected
Los Angeles International Screenplay Contest.
Suzanne has earned a RECOMMEND (Extreme Screenwriting), for her heart-wrenching story recounting the slow loss of her writing partner Ann, (who is also her mother) from the scourge of Alzheimer's. Based on true events.
